China orders $122 million worth of softwood lumber from Canada

The U.S. is no longer the top buyer of Canada’s softwood lumber. China displaced the U.S. in May when Beijing ordered $122 million worth of softwood lumber. The amount is three times as much as China ordered a year ago and surpassed Canada’s $119-million sales to the U.S.
